Hey, kids. I started my new job this morning (long story, I'll tell it if anyone wants to hear), and while I'm waiting for someone to come by and give me my login so I can do some actual work, I thought I'd throw out a quick post.
So I only found one thing, well a pair, really, but it's (they're) kind of nifty. I actually spotted them last week, but I was too lazy to go out to the car and get the tape measure. They were still there yesterday, so I took it as a sign. I remembered to take the tape measure in with me this time.

And that's it, kids. Hopefully, next week's post will be somewhat longer but for now, I need to at least look like I'm working.

Here's the condensed version: I worked for the library for 30 years. The county is taking over my department. I retired from the library (technically not until October 1) and am now doing some of the same things I used to do but for a different agency. Confused? So am I.

They really are in perfect condition--even all the little nylon glides are still on the legs.

You wrote a post in the Library while at work!?! I will not tell. I will tell you I am beginning to love these mid-century tables again in their natural state. You were lucky to find them.

The Goodwill actually had the matching coffee table, but it's round and I need rectangular with a drawer.
